I grew up in South East Minneapolis. Now, I live in St. Paul. The Twin Cities are my home and my landscape. Photography has been a part of my life since I was a young teenager, as has drawing. Books and libraries got me through some difficult years. A head injury in 2016 has ended my drawing career. My camera remains a beloved prop. The Twin Cities continue to engage me visually and I suspect always will. I have a transgender family member. Their journey and my love for them has steered me into making graphic images that I have donated to shelters that specifically welcome transgender youth.
