Artist Statement
My first love as an artist was painting. I moved on to embrace and explore many media. And now I’m back to the simple act of drawing.
I have a long career exhibiting works at the Weisman Art Museum,
The Nash Gallery at the University of MN, Groveland Gallery. I am a recipient of a McKnight
Fellowship, Minnesota Humanities Grant, and several State Arts Board Grants. I taught in the Fine Arts Department at the University of MN. I continue to work in my studio.
