Artist Statement

The historical roots of Occupational Therapy are in the performance of Activities of Daily Living (ADL) and Art. As an OT, the focus was not on the product so much as the cognition/perception and motoric aspects inherent in the making of the art. Now, as a retired OT, making art and craft is an engaging way for me to be creative. I do this for myself, my family, and friends; I am not a professional artist.
