Artist Statement

I believe art is a God-given talent. It springs out of a deep well from which we can draw during the course of our lifetime. I rejoice in sharing what I see and what I know to be true.

Carolyn Light Bell has published two collections of short stories, I HEARD A FISH CRY and LOVE'S LITTLE TRIUMPHS. A new poetry collection, entitled THE JOSHUA POEMS, is due to be published in the fall. She participated in the Jewish Artists Lab from its inception to its hiatus. Her photography, ranging from antique cars to natural landscapes, has been shown locally, and was sold in the form of cards in the MIA gift shop for many years.
Her most recent artists collaboration has been with Rochelle Woldorsky in a series of cards called "Pearables."
