My art reflects the beauty in our world and sends a positive spiritual message using the plethora of colors available with "paint chips". My goal is to uplift the viewer and engender a feeling of joy. The subjects of my work range from religious to family to folk art and animal themes, and also range from the realistic to the abstract.
After a career in environmental engineering, I honed my artistic skills at kosher catering and landscaping. Then I discovered my "medium match", creating mixed media art using "paint chips" colored cardstock, highlighted with inks, acrylics and oil pastels. My work has won awards at Hopkins Center for the Arts and Sarasota Art Center among others. Now my work includes traditional collage.
